I know you are a devoted parent. One of the best ways to protect our families from calamities and harm, is to GIVE IN CHARITY. The Messenger of Allah is reported to have said: “Doing good (to the people) protects one from misfortunes, secret charity extinguishes the anger of the Lord, and keeping ties with kinship increases one’s life span.” (at-Tabarani) Last year I visited displaced Palestinian and Syrian families, with One Ummah, in camps in Lebanon. It was heartbreaking.
