This was my message to President Ram Chandra Paudel on my recent visit to #Kathmandu, where I led a #UAE delegation keen on exploring the opportunities in this resource-rich nation. We identified high-growth sectors such as #hydropower generation, #tourism infrastructure, agri-processing, #IT and digital infrastructure – and committed to deepening cooperation at both public- and private-sector levels to pursue them. In a business roundtable, which including leading companies from both nations, there was a clear appetite for stronger ties on both sides. In 2025, our nations shared US$438.4 million in non-oil trade – which represents a significant year-on-year increase of 90.1%. By combining our expertise in #energy, #aviation and #logistics with Nepal's natural resources and mature manufacturing sector, we can secure a broad range of long-term, mutual benefits and drive these numbers higher still.
